Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police launched a campaign for security reasons to collect a database of their staff.

The move was made to effectively eliminate the false police. In the past, several terrorists acted as police to deceive security agencies.

In this regard, the department launched the “Police Authorization Certification Form” to collect police staff data from BS-1 to BS-17 (executive and ministerial staff).

This information is included in the database that currently contains information about 75,000 employees.

Once the process is completed, the department will issue an identity card for all employees, which will assist in the immediate identification of staff by Handheld Units (HHU) and online verification.

According to a district police office statement, the security torture system was launched because it became indispensable because of the ongoing war on terror.

In addition, it will also help to maintain the department’s transparency and merit in publications, transfers, promotions, training, punishment and registration, as well as information on vacancy rankings, the statement added.
