Ghani said all the preparations had been completed to host five PSL games in the metropolitan city. He said the security plan was completed and that the fans would receive the best facilities to enjoy the cricket festival.

He explained that a special transport service would accommodate the supporters of the parking lot to the stadium and that a temporary hospital would be instituted in case of emergency.

The minister also reported that the university path will remain open for traffic during the matches.

We will try to offer the best possible facilities during PSL games,” he said.
Formerly, a committee chaired by chief minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has planned the security plan that includes the implementation of 6,000 Police, Ranger, Traffic Police and Intelligence agencies.

According to the plan, the snipers will be located in the surrounding buildings and a helicopter will also be used for air monitoring.

It is important to mention here that Karachi last year successfully hosted the PSL 3 final. That is why PCB hosted five games at this event.

This year, five matches were scheduled at the National Stadium in Karachi.
In the first scheduled match, Karachi Kings will face Peshawar Zalmi on March 10.

The other four games, including the eliminators and the grand finals, are also played at the National Stadium on March 13, 15 and 17 respectively.
