A National Information Technology Council (NITB) team provided detailed information on how a claimant can easily file their complaint through the mobile application.
The Ombudsman was also informed that the complainant could use the photographs of his written complaint and the documents to present it. He was also informed that the complainant could also have access to the status of his complaint at the application.
Shahbaz said plaintiffs should feel more comfortable submitting their complaints to the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat. He said the Pakistan president wanted a mobile application to make it easier for the general public to file complaints to resolve their complaints more smoothly.
Mohtasib said last year more than 78,000 complaints were made and this application would make it easier for more people to come to the office.
